The 2024 Australia Olympic basketball schedule starts on July 27th, 2024 with group play against Team Spain. The final 2024 Australia Olympic basketball roster is set. Also known as the Boomers, they have eight NBA players on the team for the 2024 Summer Olympics. Those players are: Patty Mills, Joe Ingles, Josh Giddey, Dante Exum, Josh Green, Jock Landale, Duop Reath, and Dyson Daniels. The current team for each NBA player is listed, and you’ll note there are also three NBL players on the squad for Paris.

Team Australia played eight exhibition games before Olympic play starts. They lost to France, Australia, and Team USA. The team enters Olympic play with two big wins over Japan and Greece. Most have the team as the #7 overall favorite to win the Gold medal in the 2024 games. In my experience; however, with eight NBA players, you can’t discount their chances to medal.

The 2024 Australia Olympic basketball schedule kicks off against Team Spain on July 27th. Australia has to get past either Canada or Greece to have a shot at making it out of group play. The times listed for the games are in Australian (AEST), local Paris, and US East Coast time.
