This year’s campaign highlighted the diverse range of volunteers and the ways people can give back to sport, aligning with Volunteering Australia’s Something for Everyone theme.
The ASC’s resources helped the sector recognise their volunteers with social media and mainstream media platforms shining a light on the important role the cohort plays.
Sharing real-life stories of volunteers who undertake a variety of roles was a popular way to recognise the unsung heroes with people from small, local grassroots clubs to large, national high-performance events recognised.
