574 players and 37 Aussies up for grabs: When does the IPL Mega Auction start?

The Indian Premier League two-day Mega Auction is set to kick off on Sunday, November 24 with 37 Australians putting their name forward to be picked up by franchises.

The auction’s set to kick off at 8:30pm on November 24, before it once again starts at the same time on the following night, November 25.

It’s set to take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with a total of 574 players hoping to be snapped up, with 366 of those Indian and 208 overseas players.

Only 204 spots are available across the competition, 70 of those being available to players from outside India.

2 crore or $364,785 AUD is the maximum reserve price in the auction, with 81 players placing themselves in the highest bracket.

WHEN DOES THE IPL MEGA AUCTION START?

The IPL auction begins at 8:30pm AEST on both November 24 and 25.
