The international fashion weeks are racing towards us, with the Fall Winter 2024-25 collections debuting on the runway in February and March.
Last season, we saw Australian designer Christopher Esber make a memorable debut at Paris Fashion Week Spring Summer 2024.
Esber, who is already beloved internationally by the likes of Dua Lipa and Zendaya, was a natural fit for the week, showing a collection of beautifully draped and gathered fabrics, featuring Esber’s iconic cut-outs and abstract embellishments. So, which Aussie designers could soon been hanging off A-listers the world over?
While the official schedule has not been made public for the FW24-25 showings, there’s already news of some Australian designers on the roster.
Here’s what we know.
Australian label Zimmermann is no stranger to Paris Fashion Week. The brand, founded by Nicky and Simone Zimmermann in 1991, has made appearances at a number of international fashion weeks, including New York and Paris.
Zimmermann made its Paris Fashion Week debut in 2022, returning again 2023 and, now, 2024.

First Colours is a slow fashion brand, spotlighting 100% recycled, organic, natural or deadstock fabrics.

While that’s all for now, we’re hoping to see more local talent on the ballot across the two major seasons.
