India will take on Australia in a much anticipated five-match Test series starting from November this year. Team India lost to Australia in the World Test Championship final last year.

Cricket Australia has decided to install fan zones for Indian fans during the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Designated seating areas will be set up for the visiting fans which will further enhance the viewing experience at the stadium.

A Cricket Australia statement confirmed the development. “Aligned with Cricket Australia’s Multicultural Action Plan, these fan zones will foster an inclusive environment for Indian cricket fans, promising an electrifying atmosphere.

“Fans are encouraged to secure their seats in the Indian fan zones embracing the vibrant atmosphere by donning blue attire and traditional instruments like the Dhol for a family-friendly experience.”

The series is expected to offer a wholesome experience as India have won their last two Test series on Australian soil. The series will kick off in Perth followed by a pink ball Test in Adelaide which also happens to be a day-night Test.

On 14th December the Indian team will face Australia at the Gabba in Brisbane and the fourth Test is scheduled to be staged in Melbourne while the last Test will be in Sydney, second pink ball Test in the series.

Cricket Australia might have drawn inspiration from the IPL Fan Parks which has been a very common scenario these days. People enjoy their time at these fan parks and the fan zones might replicate that experience in Australia.

The Aussies are currently leading the ICC Test rankings with 124 rating points while Rohit Sharma and Co. are in second position with 120 rating points. India have always held an edge over the Aussies as since 2015 they haven’t been beaten in any Test series.

The onus will be on the home side to break the hoodoo this time and Pat Cummins and Co, will be ready for the challenge.
