Jamie Azzopardi suffered another embarrassing moment at Australian Fashion Week on Thursday as they were spotted watching the Verner show from the media pit at Carriageworks in Sydney.
The controversial stylist, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, was confined to the area, which is usually reserved for photographers and journalists, rather than scoring a seat at the event.
In a social media photo, Azzopardi can be seen squeezed into the back corner of the crowded media pit as they attempted to peek through photographers to watch the runaway show.
They kept their eyes hidden behind a pair of dark sunglasses as they stood behind other journalists and paparazzi snapping content for their publications, as other official guests were seated on either side of the catwalk.
Azzopardi stood out as they slipped into a sequined ball gown while the media around them wore casual, comfortable outfits while they worked.

The train of Azzopardi’s dress trailed across the ground behind them and they kept accessories to a minimum with a simple gold necklace and a Orange Cube handbag worth $379.
Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Azzopardi for comment.
It comes as a shock after the stylist claimed they were the ‘Head of Fashion Week’ during a heated clash with model Paige Montana De Cinque at Melbourne Fashion Week in March.
De Cinque, 30, stopped by popular Melbourne venue Bar Bambi with friends and says she was screamed at by Azzopardi when she entered a private booth to greet a friend during the fashion week afterparty.

In footage of the brutal clash, obtained by Daily Mail Australia, Azzopardi claimed they are the ‘Head of Fashion Week’ despite not being on the board of the organisation.
De Cinque said Azzopardi first approached her and her friends to tell them to ‘move the f**k along’ after they entered the stylist’s private booth.
The model said she didn’t know they had entered Azzopardi’s booth as ‘it wasn’t sectioned off, there was no security, no wrist bands’.
Video of the incident then showed Azzopardi approaching the DJ and saying: ‘This will end badly if [De Cinque and her friends] don’t move. This will end badly.’

The DJ then replied over the loud music, ‘I don’t know who you are,’ to which the stylist claimed: ‘I’m Jamie. I’m the Head of Fashion Week.’
Meanwhile, Azzopardi made yet another splash at AFW this week after the controversial influencer hit back at critics when they arrived in an elaborate gown.
Flanked by an entourage of ‘minders’ who carried the train of their dress, Azzopardi made an outrageous arrival at Carriageworks in Sydney earlier this week.
Married At First Sight star Carolina Santos could not resist commenting on the bizarre moment on social media.
‘What the f*** is that? Does Jamie think [they] are at the Met Gala or something? Why are people holding [their] clothes?’
Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday night, Azzopardi clapped back at Carolina’s comment.

‘Carolina, I do have a question because you have a lot to say about me: I just want to know, what do you know about the Met Gala?’
Azzopardi also had some stern words for their fellow internet personality Suzan Mutesi, after having previously accused her of faking her social media clout.
‘We all know I’m not a fan of Suzan Mutesi, but I hope for Suzan’s sake that she is well because honestly, she is delusional.’
The pair have been embroiled in a feud for years now after Azzopardi suggested Mutesi’s Instagram following may be ‘fake’, and at one event in 2022 Azzopardi said they would like to ‘push her in the pool’.
