Amidst the stars of Australian Fashion Week, one figure effortlessly outshone the influencers and fashionistas.
Julie Bishop solidified her status as Australia’s ‘Minister of Fashion’ after attending an impressive six shows during the star-studded event.
The former Foreign Minister, 67, stole the spotlight with her fashion selections, turning heads in distinct outfits for each appearance.
She made a solo entrance at the Viktoria & Woods show at Sydney‘s Carriageworks on Monday, sporting a brown coat, black turtleneck and trousers.
Ms. Bishop made a statement in a striking red dress while attending the Carla Zampatti runway event on the same day.

It presented a striking contrast to many of Sydney’s much-younger influencers, who were largely absent, and in some cases were reportedly barred from events.
As exclusively revealed by Daily Mail Australia, just a handful of brides from this year’s season of Married At First Sight were invited, after previous years saw a deluge of fame-hungry participants flock to Sydney’s Carriageworks venue.
MAFS brides Lauren Dunn and Sara Mesa were sighted at the event, as well as older participants like Carolina Santos.
Even regular attendee and former MAFS groom Nasser Sultan failed to make a cameo during the first four days of the event.
Just last week, Ms. Bishop was awarded Japan’s highest honour, the Grand Cordon of the Order of the Rising Sun.
She looked a vision of beauty in a deep purple satin gown as she stepped out at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo on Thursday.
The politician received the award from Prime Minister Kishida Fumio during a very exclusive ceremony.

‘Honoured to receive Japan’s highest award, Grand Cordon of the Order of the Rising Sun, at an investiture ceremony with His Majesty the Emperor and Prime Minister Kishida at the Imperial Palace Tokyo today,’ Julie captioned her post.
The Order of the Rising Sun is a Japanese decoration of honour awarded by the country’s government in April each year.
It is handed out to individuals from both Japan and abroad who have made distinguished contributions to the advancement of Japan.
Julie attended the investiture ceremony with her new partner, Perth man Stephen, by her side after she debuted their romance back in July 2023.
