The tennis event at Paris 2024 has delivered some massive talking points so far.
The 60th meeting between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, epic wins for Andy Murray and Angelique Kerber in their final event, and good starts for Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff have all attracted headlines.
However, some other results and talking points have not attracted the same attention.
We take you through some ‘hidden gem’ stories from the opening couple of days at the Olympics.
Talk pre-tournament often centered around Swiatek, and the difficult draw she could face on paper.
However, the gold medal favourite has seen some of her trickiest opponents already fall by the wayside.
Tenth seed Jelena Ostapenko – who has a 4-0 record against Swiatek, and could have faced the Pole in the last eight – was defeated 6-4, 6-3 by Colombia’s Camila Osorio in round one.
Meanwhile, Linda Noskova, who defeated the world No 1 at the Australian Open and was a potential round three opponent, was beaten by Wang Xiyu.
There are still dangerous opponents around for Swiatek, but these losses have potentially eased the path she has to take to the title.
It has not been a massively successful tournament from a home perspective yet, with some big disappointments for French players.
Perhaps the biggest was 14th seed and recent Hamburg champion Arthur Fils, who was beaten in his first match by Matteo Arnaldi – who also defeated him at Roland Garros this spring.
There were also defeats for Gael Monfils and 17th seed Caroline Garcia, two of the biggest French names in the event.
But there was better news for Clara Burel and Corentin Moutet, who both reached round two.

You wait twenty years for an Olympic double bagel, and then two come along in a matter of hours.
When the much-improved Maria Lourdes Carle defeated Tatjana Maria without dropping a single game on Sunday, it was the first double bagel at the Games since a Venus Williams win at Athens 2004.
But later on Sunday afternoon, there was another delivered by Zheng Qinwen.
The Chinese star, seeded sixth in Paris, downed Sara Errani 6-0, 6-0 to safely seal her place in round two.
Paris is a city that loves bakery products, and a fair few have now been served up on the court.
Stefanos Tsitsipas is a leading contender in the men’s singles draw, and the eighth seed survived a round one scare to fend off Zizou Bergs of Belgian.
However, the Greek was not the only member of his family to take to the singles court – with younger brother Petros called into action last-minute.
Amid a spate of withdrawals, the doubles specialist – currently unranked in singles – had to step in for action against Tallon Griekspoor, in place of the injured Cameron Norrie.
The younger Tsitsipas by no means disgraced himself, winning five games in a 6-2, 6-3 loss.
