2024 SSA 15/U All-Australian teams revealed

A TOTAL of 50 players have become All-Australians after the School Sport Australia 15 Years and Under Championships announced sides for 2024. Each of the boys’ and girls’ All-Australian teams feature 25 players with no particular position, rather rewarding the top players from the tournament.

In the 15 and Under Boys All-Australian Team, champions Western Australia lead the way with six players, one ahead of runners-up Victoria (five). New South Wales and Queensland have four apiece boding well for a future Allies squad, with Tasmania and South Australia the other states with multiple representatives.

Two Queensland high schools had dual representatives in Palm Beach Currumbin State High school (Taj Murray and Kodi Wallace), and St Eugene College (Noah Rafter and Lachie Ellen). Interestingly, Murray is a two-time All-Australian after being named in the side last year as well. Among the All-Australians are Tevita Rodan (David) and Lewis Salopek (Steven) who are both Port Adelaide father-son prospects. Another relation to the top level is Mitchell Brook who is the brother of recently drafted Port AFLW player Alissa.
