Electronics maker ASUS have announced a new range of AI powered laptops, powered by the new AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 series processors.

The new range includes updated models across their ProArt, Zenbook and Vivobook range for creatives, as well as their gaming focused ROG Zephyrus and TUF gaming laptops.

The new AI focused chips include an Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of up to 50 Trilion Operations Per Second (TOPS). The new CPU’s offer faster AI performance from ASUS’ installed software suite including StoryCube and MuseTree, as well as the Microsoft CoPilot AI – with the new laptops including a Copilot key on the keyboard for fast access to AI.

Bradley Howe, Head of Consumer, ASUS Australia, explains,
“This new AMD lineup builds on our launch of AI PCs earlier this year. Our focus is on supporting Australians in their AI journey, whether they’re just discovering AI or are already regularly using it. The rise of AI-enabled apps and the integration of AI capabilities highlight the need for high-performance machines to deliver better quality experiences.”

For those not in need of many of the AI use cases, the new AMD processors also offer improved benefits for all users, with Mr Howe saying

“Even for those not using AI daily, our devices’ performance and extended battery life are greater than our previous generations, making them smarter and more powerful than ever.”

ProArt

ASUS have announced two new models in their high-end creator focused ProArt range, with the ProArt P16 offering a large format clamshell, while the ProArt PX13 includes a versatile 360-degree hinge with multiple form factors.

Featuring a 16-inch display the ProArt P16 weighs in at a surprisingly light 1.85kg has a slim 14.9mm profile offering multiple connectivity options including USB 4.0 Gen 3 Type-C, HDMI 2.1 and a full-sized SD card reader. The ProArt PX13 is a more versatile system with a compact 13-inch display, on a lightweight body weighing in at just 1.38 kg. The ProArt PX13 also includes USB 4.0 Type-C ports, HDMI 2.1 port and a microSD card reader.

The ProArt P16 and ProArt PX14 use the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPUs and options for up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and 1TB M.2 SSD storage.

Powered by Microsoft Windows 11 Pro with CoPilot, ASUS is also including a free three-month Adobe Creative Suite subscription and a six-month CapCut Pro subscription, giving creators a creative workflow right out of the box.

You can get your hands on the ASUS ProArt P16 and PX13 through the ASUS e-Shop, with the ProArt P16 starting from $4,499, while the ProArt PX13 will start from $3,599.

ZenBook

The new AMD Ryzen AI processors will also power the new Zenbook S 16 OLED, ASUS latest thin and light 16” device. The Zenbook S16 features a stunning 16-inch, 3K resolution OLED display capable of up to 120Hz.

The laptop has an ultra-light design despite the large display, with the unit measuring just 1.1cm thin and weighing just 1.5kg. The lightweight deign comes courtesy of a new exciting material dubbed Ceraluminum, a durable new lightweight finish that ASUS have introduced which has the ‘look and feel of ceramic with the strength of aluminium’.

The new Zenbook S16 OLED will come with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor with AMD Radeon 890M Graphics. ASUS offering configurations up to 32GB DDR5 RAM and up to a 2TB Gen 4 M.2 SSD, with a 78Wh battery capable of up to 22 hours battery life.

Available now, the ASUS Zenbook S16 is available for $3,499 through the ASUS e-Shop, as well as JB HiFi, Harvey Norman, Officeworks, and Bing Lee.

Vivobook

AMD have also introduced a new Vivobook S16 and Vivobook S14 models powered by the new AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor. The laptops will come with the latest AMD Radeon graphics, as well as options up to 32 GB LPDDR5X memory, and up to 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.

The compact laptops include the new ASUS IceCool thermal cooling system which includes dual heat pipes and 97-blade IceBlade fans, and two air vents.

The Vivobook S16 and Vivobook S14 both include OLED panels, with the S16 offering a 16-inch 3.2K resolution panel, while the S14 includes a 14-inch 3K resolution panel, with ASUS incorporating Harman Kardon-certified Dolby Atmos audio.

ASUS offer multiple connectivity options even with the thin profile, with the Zenbook S14 and S16 offering USB 4.0 Type-C connectors as well as HDMI 2.1 and USB 3.2 Type A ports on-board with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity.

You can get your hands on the Vivobook S16 and S14 through the ASUS eShop with the Vivobook S16 starting from $1,999, while the Vivobook S14 is also available from the ASUS eShop, as well as JB HiFi, Harvey Norman, Officeworks from $2,699.

ROG Zephyrus

The new AMD Ryzen 8 AI HX 370 processor will also power the new ROG Zephyrus G16, with NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs, up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD.

The gaming laptop, will be offered in both Eclipse Gray and Platinum White colour options with an aluminium chassis offering durability. .

The Zephyrus G16 will include the Slash Lighting LED bar on the lid, giving users access to an array of notification options and animations.

The laptop will include a 16-inch 2.5K resolution ROG Nebula OLED panel at up to 240Hz, with a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. ASUS have had the OLED panel VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified. For audio, the Zephyrus G16 includes Hi-Res Audio, with Dolby Atmos certification offering immersive audio.

TUF

Lastly, there’s a new ASUS TUF Gaming A14, and TUF Gaming A16, offering 14-inch and 16-inch designs on ultra-portable chassis weighing just 1.46kg and 2.2Kg respectively, which also both carry Military Spec certification for durability.

The TUF Gaming A14 and TUF Gaming A16 both feature 2.5K resolution, 165 Hz displays and are powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, and up to 32GB DDR5 RAM and up to 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.

The ASUS TUF A14 and TUF A16 will enhance productivity says ASUS, with AI features such as background blur and eye-gaze correction with low power consumption. The TUF Gaming systems include Windows 11 with CoPilot for all your AI needs.
