The 64-year old is looking to bounce his four-bedroom house at 28 Bridge St with $2.6m-$2.8m price hopes.

The bayside home features a large pool, a kitchen fitted with Bosch appliances and an upstairs retreat with a study area.

Former top players Richard Fromberg and John McCurdy run a tennis school at the Beaumaris Lawn Tennis club that combines study with tennis.

John McCurdy is currently the head coach at the Royal Yarra Tennis Club.

Nick Johnstone Real Estate partner Bert Geraerts said the property was in a great spot, in the middle of the Hampton and Sandringham shops as well as close to the beach.

“It’s low maintenance; it’s not only a huge block of land, so for those who don’t want to garden on their weekends, so it’s perfect,” Mr Geraerts said.

He added that with a price under $3m, the residence was good value given its size, pool and location.

Major drawcards of the abode were the fireplace and the pool.

The kitchen fitted out with Bosch appliances as well as marble and stainless-steel surfaces.

Spanning across two storeys, the home offers multiple living zones, an expansive deck and a large separate laundry.

The open-plan kitchen, living and dining space at the rear opens to the backyard and alfresco entertaining area.

Upstairs, the north-facing main bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe and ensuite, while the three other bedrooms have built-in wardrobes.

The home goes to auction at 2pm on October 12.
