Marc Leishman joked “I’ve never been this scared in my life,” at the thought of what was to come after the all-Aussie Ripper GC team took out the 2024 LIV Golf Team Championship in Dallas.

Lucas Herbert had equally concerning predictions on the pending team celebrations: “I think it won’t be Mad Monday, I think it’ll be a period of sort of three or four days, a madness 72 hours. But, yeah, I think the boys will have a good time.”

Have a good time they did (or still are?). In fact, Cam Smith’s Jacksonville abode has never seen such a vast array of, well, characters.

Coming together for their end-of-season party and to celebrate another trophy/cash-laden year, fancy dress was the order of the day, and didn’t the exclusive VIP list deliver.

There was Tiger King, the former zookeeper and convicted felon Joe Exotic, who went on to become a Netflix smash-hit:

Ted Lasso, the fictional American football coach hired to manage a British soccer team was also there:

A lumberjack, with an eerily similar build to Ripper GC star Marc Leishman, was in attendance:

And some “grass for zebra”…. (you outdid yourself there, Jonesy!).

Also spotted at the Ripper GC house party was world-famous hip-hop dancer Raygun, an Egyptian Sphinx, Beetlejuice and Shrek. Sheesh… that’s one eclectic invite list.

Well done to all. We hope the recovery (ongoing party?) is going even better than your 2024 LIV season. See you in Adelaide, Rippers!
