The event was held at Echuca Basketball Stadium from Saturday, September 21, to Tuesday, September 24.
The Country Under-12 Jamboree invites the best 120 boys and 120 girls to gain experience developing their skills in a high-performance environment.
The players are allocated into 24 separate teams across the weekend to encourage their development alongside new coaches and new teammates from across Victoria.
Echuca-Moama Basketball Association president Lisa Baker highlighted how impactful the event was for young players and also stressed the importance of feedback to improving their game.
“The jamboree was awesome, we had 240 athletes here, plus referees, coaches and managers, it was a huge event but so great,” she said.
“It’s unbelievable experience for those kids, what they would have taken out of it would have been massive for their development, a few parents have spoken about how detailed the feedback was for their child to develop.”
