Two of Australia’s best young golfers will take the plunge into the professional ranks when the Webex Players Series South Australia tournament tees off at Willunga Golf Course on Thursday.
The fourth event of the 2024-2025 Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia season marks the first of five Webex Players Series events that pit men and women against each other on the same golf course for the same prize purse.
Hosted by Australian cricket legend and self-confessed golf tragic Greg Blewett, this is the second year in succession that Willunga has hosted the tournament on a golf course that rewards good strategy and an impeccable short game.
Golf’s most inclusive tournament also adds the Webex All Abilities Players Series and Webex Junior Players Series for the weekend rounds. Entry is free for spectators all four days and the final two rounds are broadcast live on Fox Sports and Kayo.
This week will mark the first professional events for Queensland pair Justice Bosio and Quinn Croker after both called time on stellar amateur careers.
South Australian hopes will rest with Carter, WA PGA champion Jack Buchanan, LET Access Series winner Kristalle Blum and rising amateur stars Amelia Whinney and Raegan Denton.
First groups tee off at 7:30am local time with Round 3 to be broadcast from 3pm-6pm AEDT on Saturday and the final round from 1pm-6pm AEDT on Sunday.
