Irish raiders odds crunched to win Melbourne Cup 2024

Irish raider Vauban is back for redemption on the first Tuesday in November and heads the Ladbrokes.com.au market for the Melbourne Cup (3200m).

Legendary trainer Willie Mullins is desperate to win the Melbourne Cup and he has a two horse attack, headed by Vauban, who was favourite in the race last year and is current favourite for the 2024 edition, sitting at $6.50 with online betting sites.

Buckaroo is on the second line of betting at $7, with Onesmoothoperator at $9, a half point clear of the other Willie Mullins runner, Absurde. There has been moves at odds for a host of runners, namely Okita Soushi ($21-$14) and Zardozi ($17-$10).
