We all love a globe-trotting golf adventure, but unfortunately getting to your destination by commercial airline can be a harrowing experience. Delays, lost luggage and destroyed clubs are the norm, threatening to ruin your bucket-list trip before it even begins. Thankfully, the Denver International Airport is striving to make things a tiny bit more tolerable for traveling golfers with the addition of Golf DEN, a golf simulator facility featuring five simulator bays, club rentals and a full bar on the mezzanine of DEN’s Concourse A.

This Rocky Mountain recharge utilizes Uneekor simulator technology, giving players a chance to practice at virtual tracks like PGA National and the Old Course at St. Andrews while enroute to the actual courses. Sessions are available in 15-minute blocks, costing $20 for 15 minutes, $34 for 30 minutes and $65 for a full hour. Club rentals are included in the price, though travelers are welcome to bring their own clubs (good luck carrying those on though).

Surviving air travel in today’s day and age takes more than just golf, however. It also requires booze, and Golf DEN is happy to oblige, offering on-the-go golfers a relxaing bar stocked with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including Golf DEN’s very own microbrew IPA. Golf DEN also plans to offer club “memberships”—such as the Cancellation Club, which includes a full 60-minute session and two alcoholic beverages for $75—and league play for regular travelers, with seasons lasting five weeks. Sounds like a pretty good way to rack up those frequent flyer miles to us.
