SailGP has confirmed its diverse broadcast offering for Australian viewers, announcing renewed partnerships with Foxtel Group and SBS for the upcoming 2025 Season.
The partnership extensions come after another milestone season for SailGP, which recorded a total dedicated broadcast audience of more than 200 million across 212 territories around the globe. Significant further growth is expected in 2025 with the championship’s largest fleet to date 12 national teams, confirmed from January as well as the introduction of ‘game-changing’ T-Foils to supercharge the live racing experience.
When the KPMG Australia Sail Grand Prix | Sydney returns on February 8-9, Australian viewers will experience all of the action unfold on Sydney Harbour with SailGP’s award-winning broadcast available live on both Foxtel and Kayo Freebies via Kayo Sports, and on SBS and its free streaming service SBS On Demand.
The remainder of the highly anticipated 2025 Season –including the opening Emirates Dubai Sail Grand Prix, presented by P&O Marinas, on November 23-24 – will be live on Foxtel and Kayo Freebies, with a dedicated highlights programme on SBS.

The KPMG Australia Sail Grand Prix I Sydney will take place on February 8-9, 2025 with thousands of Australian fans expected to descend on Sydney Harbour to witness the Australia team compete against eleven rival nations. After an unbeaten three-year championship run, hometown heroes Tom Slingsby and the Flying Roos will be hoping for back-to-back home race victories as they seek redemption in 2025 having been pipped by Spain in last season’s Grand Final.
