Week 12 produced some absolute magic in the NFL, as the stakes begin to raise across the league.
The Australian players suffered a mix of history and heartbreak, while the league as a whole saw some of the wildest results of the season.
Find out how all the Australian NFL players performed below.
Aussie NFL Wrap-up: Week 12
Jordan Mailata – Philadelphia Eagles
Mailata had a front-row ticket to NFL history this week, as teammate Saquon Barkley rushed for an incredible 255 yards, the most in over a decade.
The Eagles’ elite offensive line was a huge part of getting Barkley open for these runs, with Mailata leading the way as Philadelphia won 37-20.
Tory Taylor – Chicago Bears
It looked like the Bears might have kicked their habit of blowing close games this week, after pushing the Vikings into OT, but instinct kicked in for the team in the worst way, causing them to lose their fifth straight match-up.
Taylor had a decent workload in the three-point loss – he punted six times during the game, landing one inside the 20-yard line.
Michael Dickson – Seattle Seahawks
Dickson was another Aussie punter called on today, punting five times for his Seattle squad, three inside the 20.
Unlike Taylor, his efforts came in a win, as the Seahawks took down the Arizona Cardinals by 10 points.
