Australia’s captain Pat Cummins has denied there’s any issues within the dressing room following the uproar around Josh Hazlewood’s comments after day three.
With Australia needing 522 runs to beat India heading into day four, Hazlewood was asked how the side would approach tomorrow with the bowler responding “you probably have to ask one of the batters that question” before adding his priority is recovery and plans for the next Test.
On Fox Cricket, Adam Gilchrist suggested that could mean a “divided change room” while Michael Vaughan said he was “staggered” by the comment.

Meanwhile, David Warner stated his belief there is no divide.
After Australia’s massive 295-run loss to India, Cummins admitted he wasn’t aware of Hazlewood’s direct comments despite the running commentary around them.
“No not at all,” Cummins said when asked if there was friction between the bowlers and batters.
“There’s plenty of times where the batters have dragged us bowlers out of tight situations and we’ve done the same. So it’s a really tight unit, probably one of the tightest teams I’ve ever played with.
“We really enjoy playing cricket together, we’ve been through a lot over the last few years the core group, so no problems there, everyone gets along really well. So all good.”
