Australian sporting legend Dawn Fraser has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition after a fall in Queensland.
The swimming icon suffered the incident at her home last Wednesday and was rushed to intensive care.
However, the 87-year-old is on the road to recovery.

What happened to Dawn Fraser?
Fraser was involved in a fall at her Noosa home on the Sunshine Coast on Wednesday, December 4.
She broke her hip and four ribs, and was rushed to hospital in a critical condition for emergency surgery.
Fraser eventually had a hip replacement and is now recovering in hospital.
Former Swimming Australia media manager and family friend Ian Hanson said Fraser was in good spirits during her recovery.
“She greeted family and friends today with a smile, determined to get out of bed by herself and walking through the hospital with all of her grit and determination that made her one of the all-time greats of Olympic sport,” Hanson told ABC.
