Nick Kyrgios is slowly but surely making a return to competitive tennis, whether the rest of the sport likes it or not.
Kyrgios has been backed to win a Grand Slam ahead of the 2025 Australian Open, with the ATP Tour icon having gone furthest at Wimbledon in 2022.
Former world number 13 Kyrgios made it all the way to the final at the All England Club and even led Novak Djokovic by a set.
But the Serbian recovered to clinch his seventh Wimbledon title, with Kyrgios now hinting exciting Djokovic news soon.
What that means for the 24-time Grand Slam champion remains to be seen, but the pair could come together on the court once more later this month.
Both Kyrgios and Djokovic have signed up to play at the Brisbane International, with the event’s official X account sharing footage of the former stepping up his training efforts.

Since then, he has massively struggled with several injury issues, with fans now certain to be glad he is finally making a return to the court.

Very surprisingly, it is the Australian who boasts a favourable head-to-head record over the Serbian, with Kyrgios having won two of their three ATP Tour matches.
