Stan Sport offers an explosive summer of tennis – Stan Sport today announced the biggest Summer of Tennis to-date, with six major tennis tournaments and events building to the highlight of the summer, Australian Open 2025. Every match of AO will be ad-free, live and on demand with centre court in stunning 4K UHD, and featuring exclusive minis and highlights of every match on the Home of Grand Slam Tennis, Stan Sport.
Beginning January 12, the undisputed headline act of Australian Open 2025 will be the return of Aussie superstar Nick Kyrgios who will make his long-awaited return to the tournament after a long injury layoff.
Generating breathtaking must-see moments whenever he hits the court, Kyrgios will look to take the fight to the best in the world, including defending champion Jannik Sinner [1], entertainment machine Carlos Alcaraz [3] and long-time rival Novak Djokovic [7], who will be gunning for an astonishing 11th AO title.
In the women’s draw, top seeds Aryna Sabalenka [1] and Iga Świątek [2] will resume their back-and-forth battle over the world no.1 seeding, with the surging Coco Gauff and3] and Jasmine Paolini [4] hot on their heels. The Aussie contingent will consist of Olivia Gadecki [97], Daria Saville [108] and Ajla Tomljanovic [109], alongside breakout teenager Maya Joint [116], competing in her first ever AO main draw.

Stan Sport’s Summer of Tennis begins tomorrow night with the exclusive rights to the World Tennis League (December 19 – 23), with its star-studded season taking place over four days in Abu Dhabi. The unique team-based format brings together sixteen of the biggest names in tennis, drafted into the various squads to take each other on in a competition unlike any other on the tennis calendar.
The action then heads Down Under, with the United Cup hosted out of Sydney and Perth (December 27 – January 5), which sees 16 of the top tennis nations going head-to-head. Packed with stars like USA’s Coco Gauff [3] and Taylor Fritz [4], Poland’s Iga Świątek [2] and Hubert Hurkacz [16] and Australia’s Alex de Minaur [9] and Olivia Gadecki [97], national pride will be on the line with the green and gold on full display.

The action then shifts to the Brisbane International (December 29 – January 5), with Kyrgios again stealing the spotlight as he teams up with longtime rival Novak Djokovic in the men’s doubles draw, where anything will be possible.
And just ahead of the AO, Red Bull Bassline (January 7) will thrill Melbourne with it’s innovative one night only, tie-break tennis event, all set against a bass-bumping DJ soundtrack. The bigger twist is that there will be no umpire, with the players themselves deciding who won the points, and 15-time quad Grand Slam champion Dylan Alcott acting as MC for the evening – stepping in to help decide some calls when necessary.
