The NFL has put together an impressive slate for Christmas Day 2024, meaning an entertaining double-header for Australian fans on Boxing Day. 

First up, the reigning two-time champions Kansas City will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers, as Patrick Mahomes takes on one of the most fearsome defensive units in the league. 

Following this, Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens head to Texas, where they will face the Houston Texans in prime time, featuring a performance from Beyonce.

Kansas City Chiefs (1.78) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (2.09)

Since their Super Bowl win in February, the Chiefs have only lost one game, currently sitting 14-1 heading into Christmas.

But very few of these wins have been convincing – Mahomes and his squad have won games due to a block game-winning field goal, a game-winning touchdown ruled out of bounds, and numerous other close calls. 

The Steelers have impressed so far this season, 10-5, but they have lost two straight games, including a tough loss to Baltimore in Week 16. 

Expect a low-scoring affair in this game, but one that the Chiefs will find a way to win.

It’s been a tougher year for Houston, who have failed to recapture the magic of CJ Stroud’s rookie year, in part due to significant injuries to multiple key positions. 

With Houston struggling while Baltimore surge, the Ravens should be able to ruin Christmas for Texas fans with a big win.
