Arnold Palmer’s former home on one of America’s best golf courses hits the market for first time – Australian Golf Digest

One of Arnold Palmer’s former homes is hitting the market for the first time ever. Not surprisingly, this King’s residence will cost a King’s ransom.

Sotheby’s International Realty has the listing of 52123 Dunlevie Court in La Quinta, Calif., and it’s a gem. Not only is this property—and piece of golf history—available for the first time, but it’s also located on a highly rated Palmer-designed golf course.

The house, listed at 2,617 feet on .39 acres, was built in 1999 for Palmer. Two years before that, The Tradition Golf Course, currently No. 189 on Golf Digest’s list of America’s Second 100 Greatest Golf Courses, opened.

“Mr. Palmer personally selected this lot for its prime location near the clubhouse and its captivating views, ensuring unparalleled convenience and beauty,” the listing reads. “The current steward of this treasured four-bedroom property has thoughtfully transformed the original interior into a warm, contemporary-style hacienda.”

Here are some more photos of the property with a $5 million price tag:

Not too shabby, eh?

Palmer won 62 PGA Tour titles, including seven majors during his legendary career. Nickamaed The King, he passed away at 87 in 2016. In 2019, his longtime home in Latrobe, Penn., went on the market.

Anyway, you’ll never play like Palmer, but now’s your chance to live like him. If you have $5 million laying around, that is.
