The result was this excellent piece by our own Alex Myers—”Why Can’t We Be Friends”—which serves as a preview for the upcoming “The Showdown” set to take place in two weeks time at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas. The photo shoot, however, took place in New Jersey, where Myers was on hand to observe four of the best players on the planet—two LIV guys and two PGA Tour pros—interact with one another.
On this week’s episode of The Loop podcast, Myers gives a behind-the-scenes look at what went down that day, complete with some interesting tidbits about the relationship between Koepka and DeChambeau, two former foes turned … friends? Well, maybe, sort of.
On the full episode, we also discuss a borderline-delusional take from Anthony Kim, why former Ryder Cupper Ryan Moore is currently sitting on pins and needles and Jon Rahm’s latest relatable, common-man move.
