Abbott named in Australian T20 squad
Sydney Sixers star Sean Abbott has been named by the National Selection Panel (NSP) in the Australian men’s squad for the T20 International Series against Pakistan next month.
The three-match series will begin in Brisbane on November 14, followed by matches in Sydney (November 16) and Hobart (November 18) and follow on from the ODI series on November 4, 8 and 10, that Abbott is also involved in.
Abbott, 32, has played 24 ODI’s and 20 T20I’s for Australia and was part of the 2023 ODI World Cup winning squad.
He is the BBL’s all-time leading wicket taker and has twice lifted the BBL trophy with the Sixers.
