Now a pro, Guan last month signed with management company, Sportfive, joining a stable of stars that boasts major winners Jon Rahm, Phil Mickelson, Keegan Bradley and Brian Harman.

Thanks to a sponsor’s invitation, the 20-year-old teed up alongside the likes of Wyndham Clark, Max Homa, defending champion Sahith Theegala and fellow Aussies Min Woo Lee and Aaron Baddeley at the at the PGA Tour’s Procore Championship at Silverado Resort.

Lee was the best of the Australians at T-33 (seven-under-par), while Aaron Baddeley was T-50 (three-under-par). Guan missed the cut but posted a respectable even-par total for two rounds.

Meanwhile, on the DP World Tour, the Irish Open headed to the famed Royal County Down, where Rasmus Højgaard defeated home favourite Rory McIlroy to win the title by one shot at the world’s No.1 course. Jason Scrivener was the top Australian at T-52.

On LIV Golf, Lucas Herbert was top Aussie at its Chicago event at T-6, while Matt Jones was T-23, Marc Leishman was T-34 and Cameron Smith 52nd.
