The Australian Opals take on France in their final group game at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, early Monday morning.

The Opals bounced back from their shock loss to Nigeria in their opening game, defeating Canada 70-65, led by 19 points and 10 assists from Sami Whitcomb, keeping their hopes of qualification alive.

France have already sealed their spot in the knockout rounds, with a 2-0 record through the first two games. A win for the Opals will seal their spot in the next round, however, with Puerto Rico, China, Belgium, and Japan currently winless in the other groups, the Opals are still a chance as one of the best third-place teams.
