Aussie cricket captain Pat Cummins has showcased his surprising career move.
The sports star, 31, is delving into the world of sports drinks – partnering with the Goodness Global Group to be the face of sugar-free sports drink PACE Rapid Hydration.
The drink promises ‘a unique formulation of naturally sourced electrolytes, amino acids and prebiotics, designed to hydrate you rapidly with zero sugar.’
Cummins explained the new partnership was the result of a year-long collaboration that helped bring his vision to life.
‘Over a year ago I sat down with the crew at Goodness Group Global to share my vision for a high-performance hydration drink with all the good stuff and none of the bad,’ he said in a statement.
‘I have spent years looking for the right type of hydration solution and I am so proud to say we have nailed it.’
‘We all need to look after ourselves in the best way possible and PACE is exactly that. I can’t wait for Aussies to try.’
Cummins was spotted promoting the new product during a photoshoot in Sydney’s Rushcutters Bay on Tuesday.

He also wore a pair of comfortable white trainers and matching white socks.
At one point, the fast bowler looked comfortable with the bat, wielding it confidently for the camera.

As the camera crew worked busily around him, Cummins was happy to wait patiently, clutching a bottle of his new sports drink.
The career move comes after Cummins recently admitted that losing his mother during last year’s Test cricket tour of India forced him to re-evaluate his approach to life.
‘Play really good cricket, but … pack your golf clubs, bring your coffee machine, if we’re in London, go and explore, go and see a show,’ he told The Imperfects podcast in March.
‘We’re trying to create as much space in the diary for people to be able to live their lives.
‘It’s definitely a lesson learned from mum. I don’t want to waste any time.’
