Tahlia McGrath will be leading Australia A while Minnu Mani will captain India A for the upcoming multi-format series that is set to take place in Australia.

Australia are set to kick off the start of the international cricket summer with an exciting women’s ‘A’ series against India A.

Australia A, led by Tahlia McGrath, will play India A in three T20 matches and three one-day matches. The series begins on Wednesday at Brisbane’s AB Field. All three T20 matches will start at 1 pm local time. The only four-day match will commence on August 22 at Gold Coast District Cricket Club.

The matches are set to be livestreamed for free with the action available here.

The Australian all-rounder, Tahlia McGrath will be leading the Australian side and she deemed the upcoming series as the perfect preparation ahead of the T20 World Cup.

“I think it’s a perfect World Cup prep, it’s a bit of freedom to try some things and work out what parts of my game will work against certain types of bowlers and then go from there. I’ve been working on a few things so to get an opportunity to trial them before heading over to the World Cup is perfect prep for me,” McGrath was quoted as per cricket.com.au

“The best thing about Aus A series is they are a lot of fun. It’s an opportunity to get out there with an enthusiastic group, a wide range of young talent (alongside) older domestic superstars and just to come together and play against India A is always going to be exciting,” she added.
