Winners of the tournament are awarded by having their name inscribed on trophies – the Norman Brookes Challenge Cup for men’s singles and for women, the Daphne Akhurst Memorial Cup. Winners also receive 2000 points towards their ATP (men’s) and WTA (women’s) rankings. Prize money is awarded equally to male and female players as follows: Winner – $3.15 million, Second place – $1.725 million, Semi-final – $990,000, Quarter-final – $600,000.
