SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — In a move that reshapes Australia’s HR technology landscape, Sydney-based Humanforce has acquired LiveHire in a $17.2 million deal, marking its fourth acquisition in two years.
The successful acquisition comes after Humanforce, which only held a 19.99% stake in LiveHire, launched a binding takeover offer to acquire 100% of the company in August 2024.
Humanforce, generating $39.5 million in annual revenue with over 600,000 users, provides comprehensive human capital management solutions across Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.
The acquisition of LiveHire, which processes over 13 million candidate applications and maintains a talent community of nearly 10 million candidates, strengthens Humanforce’s position in talent management.
The merger creates a comprehensive platform offering workforce management, HR, payroll, wellbeing, and talent solutions, positioning Humanforce to better serve frontline and flexible workforces across multiple regions.
“This acquisition aligns perfectly with our mission to make work easier and life better for frontline and flexible workforces,” stated Humanforce CEO Clayton Pyne.
“LiveHire’s advanced talent solutions will empower our clients to innovate in hiring, enhance candidate engagement, and optimize shift filling, skills matching, and mobility models for both companies and workers.”
The combined entity will serve over 2,300 customers across various sectors, including aged care, childcare, hospitality, and retail. LiveHire‘s cloud-based recruitment platform, which has been operational since 2012, complements Humanforce’s existing suite of workforce management solutions.
