It’s been a long year in golf, but it ain’t over yet – especially in the sledging stakes.
Things remain spicy ahead of The Showdown, a.k.a. the Crypto.com Showdown, at Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas, where the PGA Tour-strong duo of Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy will battle LIV Golf disciples Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau tomorrow (Australian time).
While mic-ed up and warming up on the practice range, DeChambeau walked straight through a door that McIlroy left wide open for him:
The cheeky grin on Koepka’s face says it all.
Life’s all about timing and you need to take opportunities as and when they are presented to you – something DeChambeau has now benefited from twice this year at the Northern Irishman’s expense.
