As preparation starts for the official opening in 2026, we are searching for a visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead the brand new, multi-million-dollar facility in Perth, Western Australia (WA). This is your chance to help shape screen industry growth in one of the world’s most liveable cities, and one of the most spectacular regions.

The RoleIdeally commencing in early 2025, the CEO will oversee all strategic, commercial, and operational aspects of Perth Film Studios. This role is central to the studio’s success, requiring exceptional leadership to ensure that Perth Film Studios becomes a highly attractive destination for filmmakers worldwide.Your role will include: 

• Leading the development and application of early operational plans
• Collaborating with key stakeholders, including Screenwest, Ausfilm, and the WA Government to ensure the success of the studio and more broadly the WA screen industry  
• Overseeing the recruitment of the team
• Driving marketing & sales efforts to attract productions
• Commercially managing the business planning, operation and budget to ensure success.

This role is a significant placement in the Australian film industry and an opportunity to play a part in WA’s broad ambition to grow the industry sector.
