Driving range golf challenge backfires in a big – and expensive – way for one guy – Australian Golf Digest

If we’ve seen it once, we’ve seen it a million times. Guy meets girl. Guy likes girl. Guy takes girl to driving range. It’s a tale as old as time.

But how about these for a couple of twists? Guy challenges girl. Guy offers to buy girl expensive item if she wins. Girl wins.

Such was the case in a video making the rounds over the weekend. As a female golfer attempts to hit a ball at a target in the water (cool range, by the way), a guy is heard saying, “I’ll buy you a Birkin if you get it in the bag this time.” Let’s just say that backfired.

As the video continues, the female golfer makes a smooth swing and nails the target. “Ah, f–k!” the guy can be heard saying. Yeah, that’s a tough spot considering the cheapest Birkin bag, according to Google, is $US10,000, while most are in the range of $20,000 to $40,000. Poor guy. Anyway, here’s the video:

Girl hits great shot. Guy goes broke. Now that’s a new one.
