Fox out to avenge Tokyo heartbreak on day 2

Jessica Fox will be out to avenge her Tokyo demons and win gold in the women’s kayak final on day two of Paris 2024.

Fox won bronze in Tokyo after picking up a penalty for touching a gate. She would go on to win gold in the C1 later in the games.

Fox cruised through qualifying on Saturday night to make the final.

The Matildas will also be out to avenge their horror 3-0 drubbing at the hands of Germany in their opener last Friday morning (AEST), when they take on Zambia in their second match.

In rugby sevens, the Aussie women – who are among the favourites to win gold – will begin their campaign.

In the pool, Mollie O’Callaghan and Ariarne Titmus are among the big names in action.
