Australia’s premier horse racing season continues to grow momentum with the running of the Golden Eagle.
The $10 million-dollar race – the third richest on the Australian calendar – is annually held at Rosehill Racecourse since its inception in 2019.

The Golden Eagle is scheduled for Saturday, November 2 at Rosehill Racecourse in Sydney.

The Golden Eagle will again be run at Rosehill Racecourse, which is located next to Parramatta in Sydney’s west.

Channel 7 will show the race on free-to-air TV, with live coverage from Rosehill set to begin from midday.
Fans can stream the Channel 7 broadcast via the network’s free-to-use platform 7plus.
Sky Racing will also broadcast the big race, as they have in previous years.
The total prize money for the Golden Eagle stands at $10 million for 2024.
The winner will take home $5.25 million, while connections from the bottom two finishers will receive $10,000.

The Golden Eagle is not a Group 1 thoroughbred race and is for horses aged four years old.
