Here’s the prize money payout for each golfer at the 2024 LPGA CME Group Tour Championship – Australian Golf Digest

The winner on Sunday of the CME Group Tour Championship will take home a $4 million prize money payout. We’ll let that wash over everybody for a minute.

And now we’ll try to put it in context. Only three times in LPGA history has a player made $4 million in an entire season: Lorena Ochoa in 2007 ($4.36 million), Lydia Ko in 2022 ($4.364 million) and Nelly Korda in 2024 (to date she’s made 4.164 million). Korda joined the list thanks to winning seven tournament titles, the most in a year by an LPGA player since Inbee Park won six in 2013.

Suffice it to say, the payday at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Fla., as the LPGA concludes its 2024 season is career-changing for just about any of the 60 players in the field. And, indeed, all 60 have the same chance at winning that top prize; unlike the PGA Tour’s Tour Championship, there is no staggered start among those who qualified to compete this week. No. 60 Carlota Ciganda has just as much chance as No. 1 Nelly Korda.

It’s not just the winner that will grab an impressive payday. The runner-up earns $1 million and last place still garners $55,000 with the overall purse being $11 million. Indeed, the rewards for playing your way into this season-ending event are commensurate with the achievement.

Here’s the prize money payout for each golfer this week in Florida. Come back Sunday after the finish and we’ll update this with individual names and specific prize money payouts.

Dave Sansom false Public Tiburon Golf Club: Gold Naples, FL 4.3 4 Panelists

Of the public options sprinkled across Naples, Greg Norman’s Tiburón courses at the Ritz-Carlton provide the best balance of quality golf and convenience, situated in the heart of North Naples. That ideal combination comes at a cost, though, as green fees can be upwards of $300. The Gold course—ranked on our Best Courses You Can Play in Florida list—features stacked sod wall bunkers and no conventional rough and is home to the LPGA’s CME Group Tour Championship and the PGA Tour’s QBE Shootout.
