Australia and England meet this week for the final match of a three-game test series between two of netball’s most pre-eminent national teams.
The reigning world champions were convincing winners in Adelaide in the opening match this month, claiming a 70-57 victory thanks to a commanding display in front of a crowd of over 9,000 fans.
However, the Roses levelled the series in Sydney three days later, their 61-59 win over the Diamonds representing their first victory on Australian soil in six years.
“It’s a hugely significant moment for this team in their journey,” said England coach Jess Thirlby.
“We have got debutants in here, we’ve got people who have never played Australia before, so to have found a way to win this early in this team’s evolution is really satisfying and it is significant.
“It’s important that we acknowledge that and build confidence, but we’re also part of a three-game series and we’re not done yet.”
The teams will now convene in Victoria for the decider. Here, The Sporting News looks at how you can watch the action for free, both in Australia and the UK.
