The CA has revealed that the ticket sales for Day 1 of the Test are three times more than in 2018-19.
During India’s tour of Australia in 2020-21, the Boxing Day Test match in Melbourne was played with only 30,000 spectators attending at the stadium which has a capacity of more than 100,000, due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The ticket sales for days 2-4 of the Boxing Day Test have increased 5.5 times more than the 2018-19 tour.
