England are set to take on Australia in three T20s and five ODIs, which begin in September.

Leicestershire seamer Hull is one of five uncapped players picked by the England Men’s selection panel for the T20 series.

Warwickshire duo Jacob Bethell and Dan Mousley, Essex batter Jordan Cox and Hampshire fast bowler John Turner have all been called up to the T20 squad.

Jos Buttler captains both sides, with Jofra Archer also included in the squads.

Another notable inclusion is Durham’s Brydon Carse, who has returned from a three-month suspension from all cricket.

Carse was banned for breaches of the England and Wales Cricket Board’s betting regulations in May but following the conclusion of his suspension, he has been included in both white-ball squads.

As for the ODI squad, five players – Hull among them – from the Test squad against Sri Lanka, have been included.

Gus Atkinson, Harry Brook, Matthew Potts and Jamie Smith are all involved, while Bethell and Turner join Hull as the uncapped players in both the T20 and ODI sides.

Turner, 23, has taken an impressive 42 wickets in 27 T20 appearances and has the chance to make his England debut at his home ground, the Utilita Bowl, where he plays for Hampshire.

England will play three T20 matches against Australia, starting at Hampshire’s home ground on Wednesday, September 11 before the second match two days later at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff, Wales.

The teams will return to England for the series’ conclusion at Old Trafford in Manchester on Sunday, September 15.

As for the five-match ODI series, Trent Bridge hosts the opener on Thursday, September 19 before ties at Headingley, The Riverside and Lord’s.

The series concludes in Bristol on Sunday, September 29.
