KFC T20 Max Returns | Queensland Cricket

KFC T20 Max is back in 2024 and overseas and interstate player nominations have opened for male and female players looking to secure a competitive edge leading into the Australian summer.

Launched in 2022, the redesigned T20 competition featuring Queensland Premier Cricket Clubs, has been established with an aspiration to be the highest quality and highest profile T20 competition in Australia outside of the Big Bash League, creating a clear pathway for W/BBL hopefuls.

KFC T20 Max holds a unique window in the Australian Cricket calendar, attracting 92 male and female players with W/BBL experience from around Australia in 2023. Brisbane’s climate and competition timing makes KFC T20 Max the ideal destination for elite T20 cricketers to prepare for the summer of cricket and aspiring players to impress W/BBL selectors.

In an exciting development for 2024, the women’s competition will expand to 7 matches from 5 in 2023, bringing the men’s and women’s competitions into line and enabling female cricketers to enjoy the same timing advantages as their male counterparts.

KFC T20 Max has launched Premier Cricket players into BBL stars including Spencer Johnson (Brisbane Heat), Josh Brown (Melbourne Renegades), and Paddy Dooley (Hobart Hurricanes).

KFC T20 Max sees interstate and overseas players link with Queensland Premier Cricket clubs, which are home to a host of W/BBL stars, for the three-week competition in August/September which provides players quality T20 cricket and a chance for W/BBL hopefuls to impress selectors.
