For 2024, every event on the LIV Golf tour features a purse of AU$39 million.

From that figure, AU$31 million is split among the players, with the remaining AU$8 million shared with the top three teams at each tournament.

The winner will take home a whopping AU$6.23 million.

The individual payouts decrease the further down a player finishes. If multiple players are tied at one position, money is combined and then split evenly.

As one of Australia’s top golfers, Smith’s net worth is unconfirmed but is estimated to be around AU$77 million.

He raked in AU$113 million last year per Forbes, with the majority of that coming from his salary and tournament winnings. The 30-year-old also earns a sizeable amount from sponsorships.
