Matthew Ebden and John Peers have been on a terrific run at the Paris 2024 men’s doubles tournament. They enter the final having won all their matches in straight sets.
Ebden-Peers had a slightly tricky outing in the quarter-finals against Germany’s Dominik Koepfer and Jan-Lennard Struff, where both sets went into the tie-breaker, but the Aussies eventually prevailed.
In the semi-finals, the unseeded Australian duo defeated the third-seed American pair of Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul 7-5, 6-2.
Meanwhile, the USA’s Krajicek-Ram, seeded fourth, are also on a great run. The duo too has not dropped a single set en route to the final.
They beat Spain’s Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz 6-2, 6-4 in the quarter-finals and defeated Tomas Machac and Adam Pavlasek of Czechia 6-2, 6-2 in the semi-finals.
