As we’ve seen countless times through the years, Max Homa hits the sweet spot on Twitter even more often than he does with his clubs on the golf course. The dude just doesn’t miss, particularly when it comes to his trademark swing roasts. We find them hilarious—especially since he’s never roasted any of our staff’s swings.

But he may have delivered his best one yet on Wednesday night. And it came at the expense of a former NFL player.
Kudos to Julian Edelman for being bold enough to poke Homa in this area. The three-time Super Bowl champ as a member of the New England Patriots tweeted a video of his swing and wrote, “Do your thing @MaxHoma”:

Dagger! Get it? Edelman was a SLOT receiver in the NFL and the SLOT is the position you want to deliver the golf club from. We really shouldn’t have to explain that, but just in case you needed some help.
Anyway, well played, Max. And hang in there, Julian. Considering all the hits you used to take going over the middle of the football field, we’re sure you can handle this one.
