If there’s one thing Australian fashion subscribers are accustomed to, it’s having to wait longer than most for international brands to reach our shores.
While online shopping has certainly bridged the oceanic gap, sometimes you want the leisure and luxury of experiencing brands first-hand.
Luckily for fans of international jewellery label Mejuri, that will be a reality with the brand opening the doors to its first Australian store.
A continuation of the fine jewellery label’s global expansion, Mejuri’s 36th store will call Sydney home, located at the iconic shopping destination, The Galeries.
A bespoke space custom designed by the Mejuri team, the interiors include raked plaster walls–inspired by Mejuri’s best-selling Charlotte Ring–as well as a stunning light-green onyx counter and textured stone pedestals, for a shopping experience you certainly can’t get at home.
One of the most exciting elements of Mejuri’s new Sydney store is undoubtedly the full-service piercing studio. The studio will offer a “curated selection of 14k solid gold lobe and cartilage studs” to carefully build your ear stack with as well as in-person support and free check-ups.
Opening on Friday August 30th, shoppers can expect the first weekend to be full of surprises “including refreshments, waived piercing fees, and discounts”.
If you’re looking to pop in outside of opening weekend, the store’s regular hours are Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm or until 5pm on Sundays and 9pm on Thursdays.
