Ace Australian pacer Mitchell Starc etched his name in history books for unwanted reasons, after conceding the most expensive over in ODIs for Australia.
The Kangoroos played England in the 4th ODI of the ongoing five-match ODI series on Friday and Starc was taken to the cleaners in the final over of England’s first innings.
Leading the series by 2-1, the Aussies have been in the driver’s seat heading into the penultimate encounter at Lord’s. Batting first, England posted a mammoth 312-run total, courtesy of a last-over blitz by Liam Livingstone.
Starc was sent to the cleaners, as Livingstone gave a fairytale end to England’s innings. The English all-rounder hit as many as four sixes in the final over of the 39-over per side match.
