The global streaming service will broadcast the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers at 5 PM AEDT, followed by the Baltimore Ravens against the Houston Texans at 8:30 AM AEDT.
This marks Netflix’s entry into live NFL coverage as part of a new three-year deal with the league.

Netflix Chief Content Officer, Bela Bajaria said:
“Last year, we decided to take a big bet on live — tapping into massive fandoms across comedy, reality TV, sports, and more.”
“There are no live annual events, sports or otherwise, that compare with the audiences NFL football attracts. We’re so excited that the NFL’s Christmas Day games will be only on Netflix.”
Netflix has been deepening its NFL connection in recent years, with popular shows like Quarterback and Receiver capturing Australian audiences.
