No one has ever been more chill about hitting the flagstick from 260 yards than Rory McIlroy – Australian Golf Digest

Rory McIlroy has accomplished a lot in his illustrious career, but the four-time major champ nearly pulled off an all-time first on Friday: make an albatross at the Olympics.

But perhaps because of all those previous accomplishments—or, perhaps because McIlroy is so locked in trying to win a gold medal—the PGA Tour star barely reacted to the amazing shot. Have a look:

Of course, it’s also possible McIlroy couldn’t tell how close the shot wound up. But he had to hear it hit the flagstick. And yet he barely gave a reaction. Talk about acting like you’ve been there before. Because, well, he kinda has.

Anyway, McIlroy converted the eagle moments later as he attempts to climb the leaderboard on Day 2. Three years after losing a crazy seven-man playoff for the bronze medal, the 35-year-old looks pretty darn focused on adding a first Olympic medal to his impressive résumé.
