Not Kohli or Ashwin, Australians name THIS Indian as player who sledges most

Rishabh Pant and his banter from behind the stumps is equally famous as his one-handed sixes and the Australians agree to it as well. Most of the Aussie players said it was wicketkeeper-batter Pant who sledges the most whenever the two sides play.

In a video shared by Star Sports on social medial platform X, Australian players picked up Rishabh Pant as answer in response to the question ‘Which Indian player sledges the most?’

Recently, Australia T20I skipper Mitchell Marsh said that he wished for India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant to be Australian. The statement comes in build up to the upcoming five-Test Border-Gavaskar series which is set to kick off from November 22 in Australia.

“He’s a ripping bloke. I wish he was Australian. He’s obviously been through a lot over the last few years, and it’s been a hell of a comeback. He’s a positive guy, still really young, and he loves winning. He’s highly competitive for someone who has the persona of being relaxed and always laughing and smiling. He’s got that big smile,” Marsh said in a conversation with Star Sports.

Pant has played seven Tests in Australia, scoring 624 runs in 12 innings at an average of 62.40 and a highest of 159 not out. He has also scored two fifties and a hundred.

Pant was the star on India’s last tour of Australia, where he scored 97 in Sydney to help India draw the Test before hitting 89 not out in last Test in Brisbane to help India clinch the Test and the series.
